Tanzania Development Trust (TDT) has been supporting the Tanzania rural areas for nearly 50 years to get out of poverty. Demand for TDT services has been increasing, and it requires further administrators to increase and strengthen the TDT potential.
TDT supports small rural development projects of 40 to 50 a year in the field of clean water, women's education, and small income creation activities. In addition, schools for teenage mothers, sustainable agricultural training and regional development to secure clean water, vocational training of young teenage young people, and complex infrastructure development of villagers. It has a lon g-term partnership with the four major projects.
The main task is to raise funds, but it also responds to general consultations on project management and business as needed. Approximately half of the income are donated from individuals, and half are from trusts and funds. The organization supports Tanzania villagers with poor possibilities and language skills to perform project presentations, project surveys, and monitoring results. The project is implemented by the villagers themselves or local small contractors.
All TDTs are operated by volunteers (17 resident volunteers in the UK and 16 local representatives in Tanzania). Since the funds do not have paid staff, buildings, or various expenses, the collected funds are directly used in the 100 % Tanzania project.
For this reason, we are looking for managers who will cooperate with our development, such as discovering donor candidates, improving the degree of awareness of activities, and enhancing project selection and monitoring procedures.

The Administrator will be responsible for managing and overseeing the work of volunteers, including fundraising, project analysis, monitoring and evaluation, and will be required to propose new ideas to support our department more efficiently.
You will also be prepared to use your contacts and networking skills to raise awareness of our work, to earn additional income and to build strong partnerships with other organisations working in the same area.
You should be someone who understands how opportunities for the rural poor are changing in the age of mobile phones and can think constructively about how our projects can be used to enhance the possibilities of the ward.
You will also be expected to objectively analyse how our work can be improved.
This position will entail around 20-40 hours of unpaid work per year, mainly preparing and participating in board meetings and carrying out the necessary sequential work. The majority of board meetings and other meetings will be held online. Board members wishing to add additional functions to their work as board members will be happy to do so.
