Judith Storch, PhD in Food Science, has received the 2025 Avanti Award from the South American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB) for seminal contributions to lipid research. Storch's laboratory studies lipid movement within cells, focusing specifically on proteins that bind long-chain fatty acids, monoacylglycerol, and cholesterol.
