Glasgow STEMAspire Experience

18 years after working in the IT industry, I witnessed many changes. The main change was to inspire girls who care for girls and contribute to the development of these diverse and comprehensive programs. As a result, I naturally wanted to play a role in the Del Glasgow's Stemma Spire Program.

Being a mentor is really advantageous, and in fact, I was in a long way to work with the excellent sponsor Warfa Malik, who had been forced to study and stayed in the IT industry. Valda wants to complete the information technology HND course in Glasgow Municipal Institute, work in the IT field, or continue studying technology and web design. STEMAspire Event – 23 rd May 2018

Stemas Piear-Programs invites not only personal guidance but also an opportunity to plan to prove the event. The latest events held at Glasgow's Del Office have been a huge success. Click here for the main lectures, seminar programs, and important situations on the day.

When the agenda was organized, a speaker was proved, and the table was set, Del Glasgow's Stemas Piear seminar was ready, stimulated, and pulled out sponsors and guests.

The Agenda was created based on the answers from mentors and sponsors regarding goals and issues, and sponsors had a mythical probability that brought some important lessons to find employment and preparing for their growth.

The day, starting with a demonstration of a stemas Piear campaign in public networks, my sponsor played an important role in a small animation video on our experiments and the superiority extracted from the program at that time. -Refer blog

After this we were led by a set number of keynote speakers who spoke about their own careers and were recommended a set number of words of wisdom. Their LinkedIn profiles are below.

Key Note Speakers

The first speaker was Chelsea Jarvie, Security Manager and Information Risk at Public Support Management. Chelsea recognised her own appeal in the context of the weak representation of men and women in the field and was named a "Woman of the Future" by Equate Scotland - LinkedIn profile - https://www. linkedin. com/in/ChelseAjarvie/.

The second speaker was Gillian from Docherty, CEO of Data Labs, one of the Scottish Government's eighth Innovation Centres aimed at shaping innovation in key sectors of the Scottish economy. Both speakers spoke about the importance of not taking chances and the ability to seize them when they present themselves! And the sponsors had a chance to play a role in the event on non-speed non-working. It was a convivial networking skill that provided a risk-free environment to try out the non-sustainable skills of non-wrestling, and an opportunity to get to know each other and recognize their co-workers from other educational institutions as well as the external industry darlings who supported the event.

After a short break for lunch, the seminars began. I was the keynote speaker for the seminar on employability, one of two scheduled seminars. The seminar on employability had three parts.

Workshop 1 – Hire-ability

First, Debbie Fraser from Talent Acquisition spoke about the important "pros and cons" of resumes.

CV Writing – Do’s and Don’ts

Jan Caperoldo was the second speaker of the seminar focused on recruiting opportunities, and gave a pep talk on the theme "Through the recruiter's prism," which for some sponsored students was a salient realization about preparing for an interview, compiling the data that recruiters find in successful applicants, and the interest to show.

Thru the Lens of a Hiring Manager

The last part of the employability seminar I gave was about my own brand. The short interactive share was dedicated to what and how to claim about your own brand and how to promote your own brand online. The STEM students were quite proactive and chose popular "celebrities" to talk about their social brands. They also had a national assignment to create a personal brand which they would then discuss with their mentors.

Later, a small break for entertainment was scissor, and the sponsors gathered in the second seminar, "Improve sel f-persuasion."

Workshop 2 – Confidence Building

It was a great seminar that specialized in a barrier to enhance the persuasive power, advice to overcome problems, and after that, specialized in great exercise to enhance yourself.

The discoverer of the "wall of confidence" focused on being reborn as "visible", and dispelled fear, bad attitude and excitement for himself. One of the very exciting quotes for me is: "The best way to be confident in yourself is to create something afraid of you" (Swati Shalma).

Barriers to Confidence

How can we overcome the problem with perfect confidence? It's all about aggressiveness and preparation. The team has distributed a certain number of wonderful prints, such as keeping a diary that is not arrogant, grateful, and acting as an associated communication.

Overcoming Challenges

STEM students prepared their presentations in 10 minutes, and those who were chosen, all stood up in front of them, and performed their performances. I was glad that my sponsor, Walda, did it!

As a whole, the event ended behind the success, and was the first event held as part of the Stemma Spire Program. In fact, we believe that STAM students have not only gained important related skills and knowledge from this event, but also gained new connections of Dell. The reputation of this event is still very flattering, and our sponsor has left for this fines and motivation to arrange the right steps on their way.

Summary

I would like to thank Glasgow's excellent Dell EMC team for their faithful and diligent work, and that they actually supported this pretty important agenda in the branch. This team is a very fun team to work together.

I have been considered a mass program manager in the mass sales training category. My main mission is to dispatch a trainer to a vendor and the role of other corporate projects through the mass operations management office. I enjoy the Glasgow office to support the work of the formed code del EMC and society. I am considered a mentor of Glasgow's DELL EMC Stemaspire program. It also supports TRUE ABILITY ERG programs and events such as mindfulness sessions and World of Work Day.
