Lawmakers in Idaho Vote to Stop the Powerball
Thank you for coming to Las Vegas for the Idaho Adept Chamber of Commerce Update. Our Idaho membership collection is a great opportunity to come together during the Idaho Legislature session to share information and play a role in discussing important issues. This year it was about tobacco, underground tanks, elections, and the usual legislative issues of taxes, unemployment insurance, and permits. And 2024 is an election year, and in Idaho, for example, the upcoming primary election. Continue reading.
Idaho State Report - Winter 2023
Winter 2023 EditionBudget Battle Direction: On the Western Front, all is quiet, at least for now, heading into 2024. In the state legislature, Idaho's profits fell short of expectations in the first quarter of the new fiscal year, leaving the Legislature to deal with the slowdown. During the pandemic, Idaho, like other states, received a godsend of funding from the federal government. But the difference is that Idaho has a strict management system and all these "free" funds have significantly increased past revenue sources, resulting in annual increases of more than 20%. These are real reliefs, especially in Idaho. And right now, most of these funds are in piggy banks around the state, waiting to be withdrawn for one-off programs or canceled for the next "rainy day". In 2024, legislators and the governor will be battling it out, balancing their respective competitive values. For the first time, legislative budget writers will write personal budgets, rather than relying on the governor's or executive branch suggestions. This departure from common sense and the strong personalities behind this conclusion will create new dynamism in true state budgeting. Get out the popcorn and sit back. Given "2023 Convention: Chilly Weather, Spontaneous Elegance and Record Turnout in Sun Valley" This year, club members, family, friends and business associates enjoyed the long-awaited cold weather in Sunny Plains, where the annual convention was held in early August. After the July temperatures on the Wood River Mountain plains reached triple digits, 60-70 degrees, it was pretty comfortable during the event, which included the shootout, golf, and of course socializing. Luckily, the thunderstorm hit after the awards ceremony and barbecue at Sun Valley Golf Club. Read more

As always, the members who gather in Aidaho are a great place to communicate, and this is a great opportunity to gather troops, borrow transactions, and discuss any major problems when the Aidaho legislative council starts up during the exhibition. Our 2023 Membership Collection is not upset, for example, when many members have the opportunity to walk on a trading floor, participate in educational sessions, and meet our own suppliers. It became a top heaven at the start. I am grateful to the members of the company who talks a little away from the bright light of Raswasa and discusses the difficulty of Aidaho passing through the stat e-owned voice. Winter 2022Regulatory races are federal and constitutional authority: At the top of the ticket, the convention - Idaho elections have historically been held according to universally recognized norms - the GOP cleaned up all congressional and state offices, most of these races were data allocated in May and later some very well-distributed GOP primaries. Governor Little and other candidates won narrow victories, winning more than 60% of the vote. The biggest vote share, 72%, was the freshest and youngest candidate, Phil McGrath, who had already won the Secretary of State post in a passionate three-way primary and had won on Tuesday with 416, 439 votes. Governor Little was the shortest with 356, 490 votes, a defection rate of 60%. Attorney General candidate Raul Labrador won 365, 061 votes (62%), ignoring the final creep to win the Republican Party's incumbent House of Representatives, including a number of former popular members. Spring of 2021Recently, "new common sense", including Congress held in Voi in 2021, has affected everything. Most of the states are that the Idaho State Council does not prohibit guests, but the business in the state capital is not as usual in 2021. The building is much quieter than usual, the number of people, and almost everyone is over the closed door, doing virtual business. Idaho State Report - Winter 2018
Winter 2020According to the official Idaho Financial Monitor released by the Governor's Office in October 2020, "It remains a year of upheaval." This is the understatement of the year! But Idaho has not seen all of its economic monitors during the eight months of a pandemic. This fiscal year, Idaho is expected to have a $530 million surplus, the largest surplus in the state and more than 10 times the estimate at the time of budgeting -- a long time ago now. Governor Brad Little said in a press release that the September profit was $33 million above expectations, marking the third consecutive month of higher than expected in the new economic fiscal year. The profit is 10% higher than the pre-pandemic monitor. This is explained by Idaho's appeal as a great place to live, as judged by its cost of living, safety, business and tax situation, recreational opportunities, and perhaps even political health compared to some of its neighboring states. Looking forward, we can predict that the political landscape of our nation’s fastest-growing state will likely begin to reflect this composition in our demographic history in the future. Whether these changes are for better or worse remains to be seen. Read More

Every resident of Idaho has a right to record gasoline. But these costs are hurting the family businesses of the district, and they, like me, are considered the sheen of unimaginable market volatility - in favor of buyers. They got a reason not to depend on me or anyone else who realizes the fuel of the gem staff. Now, as Idaho starts to get back to work, this volatile bazaar is rapidly raising costs. You've probably already noticed that the cost in your area has jumped by more than 10 cents in a day. But it's important to remember that such a rise in rates is actually caused by the basis of a sharp drop in prices. Read more.Spring 2020

Winter 2019Little's powers have adjusted - Governor Little is still in a honeymoon period with the Idaho Legislature, but he may put a bigger challenge on the freeze in 2020. Economic oversight did not materialize, and belts were tightened. Departments were notified of the need for zero budget increases and possible cost-cutting if benefits are delayed. Lawmakers are also keeping an eye on the storm clouds and trying to temper expectations. In addition, all municipal standards must be updated by 2020, making this upcoming legislative session less than mediocre. Governor Little has seized the opportunity (given by the 2019 Legislature) to review all 8, 000 pages of state administrative regulations. We acknowledge the Governor's efforts to streamline and reduce municipal regulations, but we look forward to seeing new regulations being introduced in the first few weeks of the 2020 session. And in the given case, it's pretty good. Keep reciting.

Idaho State Report - May 5, 2015
Looking at Idaho's economy, the current statistics suggest a patchwork. State profits are beating expectations, unemployment is extremely low, and construction is booming--at least in urban areas. As for politicians, we can really expect high staff turnover at both the state and legislative levels, while Idaho has more open space than in recent history. But don't call it a generational change. In fact, Idaho's key offices are expected to be filled with new talent (if not new faces). While some parts may look like a tragic game of musical chairs, this is Idaho and for the most part familiar territory. Autonomous from the one in place in 2019, the IPM& CSA will have all the capabilities to work for the defense and security of our industry. IPM&CSA Statehouse Summary: Legislative Update from 2014 Session
When DEQ Idaho accepted the EPA's TOM inspection program, the industry supported DEQ Idaho because we thought that it would be better to do regulations, compliance with the requirements, and ensure that it was closer. 。 In fact, DEQ has almost fulfilled the obligation to be "more friendly" to the oral tank owner / driver, focuses on compliance, and applies fines only in extreme cases. As the EPA new rules are enforced by the UST, the DEQ has been assigned to additional requirements imposed by the Federal Rules. Combined with the new work volume and the funds assigned to leakage measures from underground tanks, DEQ proposed a new US dollar in 2016 to introduce a new US dollar. For tanks. The introduction of a new fee requires a law revision. Oville Green, the director of the Death Management Program, believes that the UST program costs $ 700. 000 per year, and requires $ 300. 000 per year to maintain the stat e-level program. If the staff cannot provide enough money, the TOI inspection program may be transferred to the EPA. DEQ suggests that the difference in providing sufficient funds to the UST program will be covered by tank costs. read more
