Atlantic Cit y-Bruce Dayphick looked back on the struggle, which began with a $ 10 million investment in an invisible real estate on Thursday, and was crying.
"It's going to be in the future," said Dayphick, the owner and president of the ocean resort casino. The Casino Management Committee has a license to a new owner of the old level casino hotel just one week before the opening of the facility.
"I and my family have come true for me and my family," said Dayphick, "I and my whole family have come true," said Dayphick, "very difficult 13 months."
The casino will open at 13:00 on June 28.
The license was issued along with the standard list created by the supervisor of the Gaming Bureau. The 26 standards are related to the relationship between the hotel's funding and one of the creditors, JP Morgan Chase, so that the ocean resort is not a victim of financial issues that led to the predecessor bankruptcy. It is a thing.

On Wednesday, Colorado-based developer Defeek and its financial director Alan Grinstein Dalli testified about the luxury hotel-casino vision, the group's finances and changes to the project. On Thursday, Ocean Resorts general manager Frank Leone, who previously worked at Caesars Atlantic City and Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort, testified about the resort's marketing strategy and plans to attract and retain guests.
"We promise to speak loud and clear to the casino's core demographic," Leone said of how Ocean Resort will be different from the previous owner. "We promise to be steadfast in our desire to exceed guest expectations."
According to Leone's testimony, smoking will be permitted at Ocean Resort, which was the top complaint in focus groups with former Rebel guests. There will also be an increase in the number of nightly room rates offered, a player rewards program, market competition, and a buffet, which is expected to open "in late 2018 or early 2019."
Other changes included in the roughly $50 million reconstruction include reconfiguring the casino floor, removing a boardwalk wall that blocked direct access to the casino, and installing two-foot security panels around escalators.
When asked if Ocean Resort is ready for its June 28 opening, Leone said, "Absolutely. We're looking forward to it."
About 3, 300 people will work at Ocean Resort. According to Leone, nearly 25 percent of the employees already hired to work at the property are Atlantic City residents, and more than 80 percent have casino experience.
