"It's fun to hear the machine guns and win money," Natalia says. "We have 90-year-olds who walk into the casino and they say they want to come back." The casino may not be included in the "green phase" of the state's intention to reopen casinos in Pennsylvania. Casinos will mark the floor in all areas where lines for entry or service may be made to maintain six feet of social distance between all guests. For slot machines, casinos can promote social distancing, place plexiglass barriers between machines, remove seats from some machines, or turn off some slot machines to create distance between machines in operation. Apart from this, players are required to carry disinfectant napkins to clean gaming machines before playing. For board games, casinos are required to increase the distance between players at each table. Poker rooms have

"We are confident that this project will be effective in reducing the risk of COVID-19 transmission for all employees, guests and other visitors," Kevin O'Toole, executive director of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, said in a press release. O'Toole acknowledged that the COVID-19 pandemic has dealt a sudden and unprecedented blow to Pennsylvania's casino industry in recent months, and the PGCB is eager to help all casino and venue operators in Pennsylvania reopen in a safe and efficient manner. "There is no question that the PGCB will continue to work with the industry to revive Pennsylvania's financial engine and reopen the quality entertainment venues developed by one of our licensees," O'Toole said. Even if casinos are able to reopen, Svetlana said everyone should be cautious. "Most people will be concerned about themselves," she said. Here is Rivers Casino Pittsburgh's statement after the PGCB's announcement: Rivers Casino Pittsburgh is already working to implement the changes announced by the PGCB this time. The safety and well-being of our team members, residents and communities is our core value. We will reopen as soon as the state deems it safe. ”

In Pennsylvania, casinos can’t announce their intention to reopen until the end of the green phase.

The rules also include requiring all patrons entering casinos to wear face masks that cover their lips and mouths. Hats are still not recommended inside casinos.

Casinos will be required to post floor markings in all areas where guests may queue for entry or service and maintain social distancing of 1, 80 metres between all guests.

As for slot machines, casinos are even required to promote distancing between spectators by installing plexiglass barriers between machines, removing seats at some machines, or turning off certain slot machines to create distance between machines that are in operation. In addition, players must be provided with disinfectant wipes to clean slot machines before playing.

As for table games, casinos are required to maintain distance between players at each table. Poker rooms are unlikely to succeed as they are played with cards and chips. According to a PGCB document, the operation of poker rooms will be reviewed following the change in leadership from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Social distancing is still required in sports betting areas. Floor markers must be installed in this way, distance between customers must be kept at 1, 80 meters, and ticket cashiers must wear masks and gloves or place plexiglass barriers between cashiers and customers at the register.

Valet parking services should be terminated until a correction order is received.

Doug Harback of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board linked the future casino changes to what's happening in supermarkets.

"It's going to be plexiglass. It's going to separate them from the dealers. It's going to allow for social distancing."

"While these guidelines for casino operations may change as we get closer to reopening, we believe this project will be effective in reducing the risk of COVID-19 infection for all employees, guests, and other guests," said Kevin O'Toole, executive director of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, in a press release.

O'Toole acknowledged that the COVID-19 pandemic has dealt a sudden and unprecedented blow to Pennsylvania's casino industry in recent months, and that the PGCB is eager to help all Pennsylvania casino and venue operators reopen in a safe and efficient manner.

"The PGCB is committed to working with the industry to restart Pennsylvania's fiscal engine and restart the quality entertainment venues developed by one of our licensees," O'Toole said.

According to Natalya's email, everyone should be careful when the casinos reopen.

Most people will be worried about themselves, she said.
