The cozy ferry departs from the historic San Francisco Ferry Building (at the foot of Market Street) to the sunny marina-surrounded towns of Sausalito, Tiburon, Angel Island, and Larkspur. Nestled in San Francisco Bay, Angel Peninsula is home to a gorgeous military setting that dates back more than 100 years. HIKING

  • Perimeter Road Perimeter Road offers a view of the entire San Francisco Bay for 5. 5 miles around the island. One is the Sunset Trail, which starts from the bay to the top in just over 3. 5 miles and an elevation gain of 990 feet. The other route is the North Ridge Trail, which is a 3. 5 mile hike with the same elevation gain. This is a challenging hike, but it rewards visitors with panoramic views of the bay.
